Is it okay to wear big pearl earrings with a 2 strand pearl necklace that's slightly a different color & size?

I am current to a dinner party, not casual, a little dressy. I am wearing an ivory latest news neckline sweater cardigan that has ruffles adorning the neckline. I am pairing it with tan elegant slacks and black patent heels. For accessories, I am wearing big 1/2 inch pearl earrings.

In imprecise, I don't wear pearl jewelry of different shades, though size isn't an dispute. I've got earrings that match -- in shade, though not in size or specific pattern -- each of my pearl necklaces. If you don't, then wear either the earrings or the necklace, but not both.
