How do I close a captive bead hoop earring?

I've got a imprisoned bead hoop that goes through two holes in my ear, and the ball came out today. It only has dimples in the sides, not tangible holes to put the posts into, and I can't get the bead in on my own. Does anyone have any tips on how I can do this?
