Ladybug Earrings - Earrings

My husband gave me expensive earrings & bracelet w/ladybugs that I hate! How can I return them & not offend?

I don't cogitate on I can bring myself to wear them. Next month his credit card bill will move in & I don't want him to pay for something that will most likely sit in my drawer. We can't really afford to splurge money like that.

I received a red hat and scarf amoung my gifts from my other 1/2. I Flinch from red, and rarely wear it. I did not want to just leave them in the drawer either, so I very recently told the truth. I thanked him for his thoughtfullness and said, but red is not my favorite color.
